In a faraway place and time, giantesses roamed the Earth and goddesses ruled the skies and in between little girls learnt that they could change the world if only they understood their power.

What happens when a sleeping goddess is awakened and the guardian of the garden is challenged by an evil force that emerges through the ground? Perhaps you have heard how greed overtook men and led them to believe that the water and the soil was theirs to keep. Perhaps you wondered how the creatures of the Earth fought back against those who stole their land and ransacked their home.

Now, you will hear how little girls stood up to be counted... how Inez rode a star into the sky to stop time and Katarin trekked through the belly of the earth to save an old carob tree. You’ll meet Juno, the protector of wild flowers, Sansuna, the guardian of the earth and Argenta, the daughter of the moon.

Once upon a Girl, a Giant and a Goddess is a collection of soulful tales that celebrate the innate power of girls. Each tale is original, published with inspiring illustrations, cloth bound and presented as a box set that is sustainably and ethically sourced.
