Whenever stories are told stillness falls. We cease our restless frittering. During these times of concentrated devotion to alternative realms we may reconnect with the power of creation. Through such resting we are renewed. Renewal inspires the courage to change.
The stories we tell ourselves contain the narrative of our lives. In order to change this narrative, allowing for its protagonist to grow, we need to listen to stories that are older and wiser than ourselves. This workshop invites participants to ask how our individual relationship to the world would be different if we had the courage to make our voice heard and craft our own story.
Working through traditional folk and fairy tales in the beautiful setting of the Victor Pasmore Gallery and drawing inspiration from his work (hence our title), participants explore what it means to say, ‘I am a storyteller!’ Engaging the body, mind, spirit and heart the workshop offers a rich platform to explore the many roads our journey can take. We are let inside the soul of modern man to get a glimpse of his ancestors and together we imagine the life of his descendants.
Throughout this work, I invite you to rest, to fall into a rich and creative stillness, a space of concentrated devotion and of renewal. A space of neverending stories.

The participants of the Points of Contact Workshop in September 2017. Well done storytellers!
I met Giuliana for public speaking and storytelling training, which I needed for my once in a lifetime opportunity, a presentation in front of European Parliament. During our training, she gave me the necessary skills not only to perform well during this experience but also in other professional situations in life. I acquired competences that will be carried throughout my life. Joanne Portelli, 37, Mature Student.
Before I took this training, my fear of speaking in public stopped me from playing an active role in our society. Now I have become unstoppable. Thanks to the work I did with Giuliana, I feel confident to address whatever has to be addressed and people pay attention. I have indeed never spoken out this much and do not plan on stopping. When everyone becomes quiet and listens I realise how big my accomplishment is. Sophie-Claire Coudoux, 19, Student.
